The All Nagaland industrial Entrepreneurs Federation (ANIEF) held its state executives meeting on March 6 at its state office Kohima.
While deliberating various issues confronting the Federation, the meeting has taken serious note of the press release appeared in local dailies of March 4, 2014 issue by Khezheto Chishi and Ghotovi Chophy calling a meeting on March 8 at Hotel Saramati Dimapur in the name of Dimapur District Industries Entrepreneurs Association (DDIEA) to discuss “re-verification and non-release of fund” etc without the least concern of taking prior permission from the apex body that is “ANIEF” at the state level which is duty recognized by the state government and mandated by the industrial entrepreneurs in the state before forming such Association at the district level or calling such meeting.
Hence, the state office of ANIEF expressed its regret in this regard as such act is unauthorized bypassing the apex body which is un-procedural and not proper. In fact, in good manner, they should take prior permission from the state office of ANIEF before forming such association or calling such meeting.
We would make it very clear to all concerned that the ANTIEF has been spearheading the move with the concerned authorities of the Department of Industries and Commerce for release of funds to the pending cases under Central Transport subsidy and Central Capital Investment subsidy all these years. Therefore, the ANIEF would advise them not to repeat such irregularity in future in order to avoid misunderstanding.
In view of strengthening the hands of the apex body ANIEF at the state level, this state executive meeting felt it necessary to organize or form ANIEF Units at the district level. Hence, it was resolved that formation of ANIEF Units at the district level shall be allowed only with the prior permission from the head office of ANIEF board at Kohima. If any meeting is called for this purpose, the state office of ANIEF shall depute its officials as Observer(s) to such meeting in order to oversee the proper conduct of such meeting and its proceedings. In the event of forming ANIEF Units at the district level, the nomenclature shall be named as ANIEF Kohima District Unit or ANIEF Dimapur District Unit and so on so forth. All concerned are therefore requested to consult the state office of ANIEF for proper streamlining of the organizational matters.
