Wokha, November 2 (MExN): The annual conference of All Anganwadi workers and helpers union, Wokha project was held on October 30 at Town Hall, Wokha. Altogether 210 workers and helpers attended the meeting. Senior Supervisor Erenbeni Kikon spoke on the occasion where she highlighted on the roles and responsibility of Anganwadi workers and helpers and informed all the workers to form Mother’s group and stressed on the importance of maintaining kitchen garden in the Anganwadi centres. She also highlighted on the newly launched programme Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, and further encouraged the Anganwadi workers and helpers to be diligent in their works and wished them all the best in their future endeavors. The programme was chaired by Yanpvulo Kithan, invocation prayer by Loyibeni Tungoe, financial report of the union was highlighted by Lideno Odyuo, vote of thanks by Zuchanbeni and benediction by Nzanbeni.
