A group discussion in a WhatsApp social media platform a few weeks ago prompted a participant to suggest the idea of installing automatic touchless sanitizer dispensers at public places like offices and places of worship in Mokokchung.

Finding the suggestion worthy, a participant of the group sent a private message to the person who first shared the idea pledging to donate ten dispensers. Four weeks later, the automatic sanitizer dispensers were handed over to the Deputy Commissioner and chairman of the Mokokchung District Task Force on COVID-19 on June 17, directly shipped from Faridabad, Haryana.

The donor, who wished to remain unidentified, expressed hope that more anonymous donors would come forward to support the battle against the pandemic. The donor also said that the district administration may distribute the dispensers at their own discretion and preference.

The Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Limawapang Jamir conveyed gratitude to the generous anonymous donor and prayed that God would bless him abundantly. The automatic contactless mist based sanitizer dispensers comes with a tank capacity of 9 liters and runs on single phase 230V of power.
