Dimapur, September 27 (MExN): According to a press release issued by the Dimapur Tsungiki Ekhung, one Lothungbeni of Tsungiki Village was severely beaten with the intent to murder by her husband Thiputo Kezo, resident of 4th Mile along with another accomplice identified as Ati on the night of September 25 at around 8:00 pm. The victim is presently admitted at Zion Hospital undergoing medical treatment for the brutal atrocities inflicted upon her. The Dimapur Tsungiki Ekhung in the press release issued by its general secretary Longtsuthung Kikon has condemned the barbaric attempt to murder in the strongest term. “Such heinous crime and atrocities upon women at this present generation needs to be strongly condemned by one and all likeminded peace loving citizens,” the Dimapur Tsungiki Ekhung stated further.
