Dimapur, July 27 (MExN): The All Nagaland PWD Mechanical Field Staff Association (ANPWDMFSA) held its Annual General Meeting on July 13 at its headquarters in Dimapur. The meeting was attended by representatives from all the Division and Sub-divisions of the Mechanical Department, a press release from the association informed.
During the meeting, the house resolved to endorse the joint meeting resolution No. II to abide by the office memorandum issued by the P&AR vide No. AR-3/Gen-201/2009 dated March 17, 2015 regarding the policy of 67/33% regularization of work charge employees and fresh appointments. The joint meeting was held on September 27, 2016 between the association and senior mechanical Engineers led by the Chief Engineer and Office Superintendent.
The meeting also resolved to approach the Government of Nagaland through Chief Engineer for the approval of Foreman scale as given to others like in the Power Department where the scale of Junior Engineer and Foreman scale are the same and one, the release stated. Meanwhile, a new team of office bearers led by C. Hopong Chingmak Chang as President and I. Mar Pongen as General Secretary were also nominated for the session 2017-21.
