The All Naga Students' Association, Manipur (ANSAM) has urged government secondary and higher secondary educational institutions that those students displaced by the recent unfortunate violence in Manipur and opting for change of schools should be facilitated without charge of any admission fees and other formalities like transfer or registration certificates.

The students’ body said this is in pursuance of the notification issued by the Directorate of School Education, Manipur waiving the requirement of prior permission from the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) and Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) for students seeking to change school due to violence.

It has also appealed its constituent units and sub-ordinate bodies to endorse the "directive of ANSAM to ensure strict enforcement in all the schools of Naga inhabited districts in the state."
