Rev Father Philip Magh inaugurating the ANSPA Kiphire Unit interschool volley ball and throw-ball tournament on October 7.
DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 8 (MExN): The All Nagaland Private Schools Association (ANSPA) Kiphire Unit organized an interschool volley ball and throw-ball tournament at Loyola higher secondary school campus on October 7.
In volley ball, Cambridge high school boys emerged the champion defeating the Hiky cross school to lift the trophy, while in throw-ball, Loyola higher secondary school girls defeated the Agape higher secondary school to lift the trophy.
Rev Father Philip Magh while inaugurating the event encouraged the students to not only study but also give importance to sports so as to make their education complete.
On the occasion, certificate and cash award were also handed over to HSLC topper and also HSLC subject topper respectively. ANSPA Kiphire unit president, Thomas gave away the trophies to the winners. Altogether 9 private schools in Kiphire town took part in the tournament.
