Dimapur, March 12 (MExN): The All Nagaland School Teachers Association (ANSTA) has appealed to the concerned authority to ensure timely disbursement of salary every month. In a press release issued by its president, Ponchulo wanth and general secretary, P Vashum, ANSTA has stated that “teachers do not have any extra income, but solely depend on their monthly salary.” Further expressing their anguish it said, the delay in salary payment brings hardship to the family, since beginning of year is a time of admission in schools and it is extra expenses for parents. ANSTA in the press note also welcomed C M Chang, who has been inducted as cabinet minister for school education.
