KOHIMA, JULY 16 (MExN): The All Nagaland School Teachers' Association (ANSTA) held its coordination meeting on Wednesday at the Morung Conference Hall, Directorate of School Education, Kohima, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening the teaching profession and ensuring quality education across the state.
The meeting was attended by representatives from various teachers' groups and units from across Nagaland.
During the session, members discussed strategies to foster a conducive environment for positive change and to further elevate educational standards in the state.
Representatives of All Nagaland Ad-hoc Teachers' Group (ANATG), All Nagaland Government Primary Teachers' Association (ANGPTA), All Nagaland Hindi Teachers' Union (ANHTU), All Nagaland Hindi Teachers' Union CSS (ANHTU-CSS), Nagaland RMSA Teachers' Association 2016 (NRMSATA 2016), All Nagaland Education (T-PIMS) Employees' Group, RMSA III Graduate Teachers 2016, SSA 2013 Backlog (Maths & Science), All Nagaland Drawing Teachers' Group, All Nagaland Graduate Teachers' Forum (ANGTF), and Vishesh Gyaan Hindi Teachers spoke at the meeting and presented their respective reports.
ANSTA took note of the challenges and difficulties faced by members of different teacher groups and assured that efforts would be made to address them. The association appreciated all participating groups for their commitment and encouraged continued collaboration with a shared mission of delivering quality education across Nagaland.
ANSTA president Kasheto Sumi delivered the presidential address, while general secretary Pekinto Y Jimo presented the keynote address. Treasurer Chubatemjen and vice president Kezhalezo Solo, who chaired the meeting, also spoke during the programme. The meeting concluded with an open discussion hour.
