Dimapur, September 8 (MExN): The All Nagaland Social Welfare Field Staff Employee Association (ANSWFSEA) has highlighted what it alleged as “incongruity” in the Social Welfare Department, Nagaland. In an open letter to the Nagaland Governor, the association highlighted that although there are only 60 sanctioned ICDS Projects in Nagaland, presently there are 63 CDPOs in the department.
Despite objections by the association over those unsanctioned posts “who are appointed on contract/backdoor flouting every service rule”, the department somehow placed those CDPOs for regularisation “seeking cabinet approval”, the Association stated. In this regard, the association has implored upon the Governor to make “prompt and necessary enquiry” into the matter.
