Dimapur, November 18 (MExN): The All Nagaland Taxi Association Dimapur Unit celebrated the ANTA Raising Day cum annual picnic at Roben Picnic Spot, Doyapur Road on November 18.
A press release issued by Sheka Thuu, Information Secretary ANTA Dimapur Unit stated that Ghunato Chophy, President ANTA Dimapur Unit exhorted the drivers and owners to continue to uphold its motto of “Service to public”. He encouraged the drivers to take utmost concern for the safety of the drivers. He cautioned that any drivers driving taxi under the influence of alcohol will be strictly dealt with as per the laid down rules and regulations. ANTA Dimapur Unit Best Discipline Drivers in two categories was awarded to Chengmei Konyak and Viyito Ayemi with certificate and cash.
Kughaho Futhena, ACC chaired the formal programme. Vinito Assumi gave the General Secretary report while Boshika Yepthomi gave the financial report. The formal programme was followed by games and sports.
