The All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) HQ Kohima today honoured the HSLC and HSSLC examination 2023 passed out children of taxi drivers.
In a felicitation programme held at Hotel Japfu Kohima on June 10, ANTA HQ Kohima honoured 11 first division holders of HSLC and 9 first division holders of HSSLC from Kohima. All 20 candidates were awarded with cash and citation.
This is the second felicitation programme of the Association to recognize and encourage the toppers and 1st position holders from ANTA family, said ANTA HQ Kohima President, Dziesevituo Solo. He called upon the achievers to uphold the principle of ‘Dignity of labour’ and continue to shine in their academic career. Solo also told the students not to always subscribe to ‘Yes-man’ but learn to say ‘No’ to others sometime, and be on the safe side of life.
“Education is your asset,” Solo told the students and asked them to give their best to excel in life.
ANTA HQ Kohima, General Secretary, Meyieho Hibo congratulated all the successful candidates and asked them to value their parent’s care and sacrifice. He also challenged the students to strive more to succeed in this competitive world.
Earlier, Avilie Punyu, pastor Bethel Baptist Church Kohima invoked God blessings. Vetholii Rhakho presented a special number. The programme was chaired by ANTA HQ Kohima vice president Elho Kin while vote of thanks was proposed by Victor Rutsa, secretary to the treasurer ANTA HQ Kohima.
