ANTA Wokha celebrates advent Christmas

Wokha, December 9 (MExN): The All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) Wokha unit celebrated Advent Christmas on December 9 with Pastor Wokha Town Baptist Church (WTBC), Rev S Thungrio Khuvung as the speaker at ANTA Wokha unit office. Reverend Khuvung exhorted the gathering on the significance of Christmas, while cautioning against misplaced sense of celebration during the festival. He called upon the members to abstain from immoral and unchristian activities which, he said were sadly becoming part of the festivities.

“It is disheartening to see many organisations in Nagaland functioning without Christ,” the Reverend lamented and praised ANTA Wokha Unit for putting Christ in the forefront in all its activities. He further prayed for the association and its members.

President ANTA Wokha unit, Hayithung Odyuo conveyed Christmas greetings on the occasion. He reminded the members that the event was organised to foster friendship and unity among the members of the association.

Also extending greetings, advisor ANTA Wokha Unit, Khyodemo Ezung called upon the gathering to uphold the true meaning and significance of Christmas. General Secretary, ANTA Wokha Unit, Lipenthung Ovung presented gifts to the invitees.
