ANTA Wokha provides relief to taxi drivers

Wokha, July 4 (MExN): With the objective to reach out to the drivers whose livelihood are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) Wokha unit on July 4 provided relief for the second time to all its members, both local and regional taxi drivers.


A press release stated that ANTA Wokha, President Hayithung Odyuo, during the distribution at its office urged all the drivers to strictly adhere by the laid down SOP and precautionary measures like wearing of mask and use of hand sanitizers. He advised the taxis plying in an around the town to regularly disinfect their vehicles for the safety of the passengers. He also highlighted the activities undertaken by the Association for the welfare of their members during this crisis.


ANTA Wokha, General Secretary Lipenthung Ovung urged the local taxi drivers to follow the odd and even traffic rules issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Wokha.
