Kohima, January 30 (MExN): National Leprosy Eradication Programme, Nagaland, observed Anti Leprosy Day with Leprosy Patients at Leprosy Colony, Kohima on January 30. On the occasion, various activities were undertaken in par with the Government of India Guidelines at the State level. Dr. Aseno Rhetso Zonal Leprosy Officer (ZLO), Kohima in her speech stressed on the need for awareness and dedication from the National Leprosy Eradication Programme (NLEP) staff. She invited all concerned to spread the theme of this year's celebration: spread the message that “Leprosy is Curable” and hence, discard the Stigma attached to Leprosy.
