‘Anything can happen in politics,’ says NDPP Kohima President

Chairman, NHHDC Ltd Government of Nagaland and NDPP Kohima Region, President Prasielie Pienyu inaugurated the National Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) new office of the 15 Southern Angami AC on June 28. 

During the programme, a homecoming programme of Er Zale Neikha, former Advisor and MLA, 15 Southern Angami AC was also held. 

Remarking a famous adage, Pienyü said anything can happen in politics, he recalled that during the recently concluded general elections, many things happened in the constituency however, the party workers have wholeheartedly worked and sacrificed for the best of the party. 

Let the bygone be gone, but we need to look at the way forward and see how we can continue in a better way, he said. 
Homecoming, Pienyü said was an act of returning to one’s own origin. He hoped that the homecoming of the former Advisor and his party workers will not only strengthen the region but the whole of NDPP spread across. He encouraged the party workers to follow rules and regulations and discipline during their membership in the party. 

Pienyü later encouraged the party to look forward to the next general election and work on enrolling more members in the coming days.  He also asked the workers to spread about the Chief Minister’s Micro Finance scheme and encourage people to come forward and avail the service. 

Dr Atha Vizol delivered a short speech. The programme was chaired by Ketosü Rikha, General Secretary, 15 Southern Angami AC, NDPP and President Vizoto Kin delivered the welcome address. Sevotso Kisotso, Assistant Cathechist prayed for the programme.
