Dimapur, December 4 (MExN): The Ao Region NSCN (K) has affirmed its support to the on-going unification and has appealed to stand behind the long awaited unification move initiated recently. Informing of this, the Ao Region Chairman L.J Wati Imsong also conveyed that “peace and unity are the two faces of the same coin and that peace can bring unity, but unity always brings peace”. Further, he thanked the leaders of both faction especially the Sumi Hoho, “who in spite of all difficulties initiated such a positive event in the history of the Naga struggle for freedom”. The Ao Region NSCN (K) stated that every individual’s contribution is required to make Nagaland a land of peace and to stand against all evil designs to make this endeavor a failure. “Unity is the result of reconciliation. No wonder, it’s our prayer answered”, it stated.
