Ao Senden for compensating affected traders

Mokokchung, February 4 (MExN): The Ao Senden has extended solidarity to the business owners, whose shops were gutted in the MMC Shopping complex fire on the night of February 3. “The unfortunate fire incident had given a devastating blow to the dedicated local entrepreneurs and for which we urge the Government of Nagaland to compensate the entrepreneurs in the best possible ways,” stated a press release from the Ao Senden.
It also expressed gratitude to all the government agencies and other organisations for “timely intervention” and Advisor Imkongmar for taking stock of the disaster on behalf of the Mokokchung district legislators. It mentioned home-owners, who provided water from their personal reservoir in the fire-fighting effort.
