Dimapur, March 21 (MExN): Amway Opportunity Foundation organized “Nanhe Chitrakaar” in Dimapur Annual painting competition for children with the theme- “Wild Life & Environment”. Children from Ebenezer Orphanage Home also participated. The winner of category A (4 -7 years) was bagged by Carme A Raja and Diksha Aggarwal and John as second and third respectively, while Koina Dutta bagged the first prize in category B (8 - 12 years) and Kelvin A Raja and Sherry Jindal as second and third.
A press note informed that AOF has drawn overwhelming response from participants at Nanhe chitrakaar competition in various locations of East. As aptly christened, Nanhe Chitrakaar- is a pan India annual painting competition for children organized under the patronage of Amway Opportunity Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of Amway India.
At a formal function today amid the riot of colours, Amway Opportunity Foundation presented the prizes to winners of Nanhe Chitrakar 2010. The note also mentioned that AOF presented certificates to all participants signed by William S Pinckney, Chairman, and Amway Opportunity Foundation. The Painting competition elicited overwhelming response from the ABO parents in Dimapur.
Over 50 children of Amway Business Owners participated at Nanhe Chitrakaar competition. Wildlife and environment ran as the leitmotif of the competition as children captured their fancy on the canvas with a riot of colours. The competition was organized in two categories of four to seven years and eight to twelve years of age groups.
