A Dimapur-based NGO, Act of Kindness (AoK) on Saturday observed its third anniversary with Minister for Higher & Technical Education, Temjen Imna Along as the chief guest and DMC Administrator, Moa Sangtam as the guest of honour at DBIdl, Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Dimapur.

Addressing the gathering after releasing a poetry book compiled by AoK, Along lauded the organization for their random acts of kindness adding, "these are the acts we need to put our minds and strength to make our people great."

He pointed out that people these days were busy on social media and often fails to appreciate good works done by others.

"What the AoK is doing is not extraordinary but this is what is original and such acts should be done and voices raised by setting aside differences," he added.

He said if people had to stand tall as one then it is not by doing great things but by doing simple things.

Later, DMC Administrator, Moa Sangtam released a music video - a compilation of original live performance winners of AoK events. During the programme, the AoK screened a short video of its activities undertaken from 2015 to 2017.
