DIMAPUR, APRIL 3 (MExN): The All Ollo Welfare Association (AOWA) of Tirap district in Arunachal Pradesh convened a thanksgiving programme under the theme ‘Glory and Honour’ on March 31 at the Ollo Baptist Church Dimapur.
A press note from the AOWA acknowledged NSCN (IM) Vice President, General (Redt) Kholi Konyak and General Secretary, Th Muivah for “recognition of Ollo Community as one of the Naga tribes enshrined as Ollo Naga tribe into Naga constitution in the recent Tatar Hoho budget session dated March 23, 2018.”
It added that the thanksgiving programme was attended by prominient Ollo leaders, church leaders and other delegates from Tirap and Changlang districts of Arunachal district and the East Patkai hills.
The press note said that amongst the speakers were Lt Col Keewang Diosha, Kilonser JK Matehan, Kilonser Kimong Lowang, Kilonser JL Ranshoong and CAO Pangmi Region Tatar, J Rumchu. Various leaders, student unions and delegates from the Ollo community led by Pastor Keena Wotey, Ollo Baptist Church, Dimapur also prayed “for the good health” of the collective leadership.
