The Angami Public Organization (APO) today appealed to all the Angami MLA to withdraw their support to the Nagaland Chief Minister immediately for the interest of Nagas of Nagaland. This was resolved at its executive council meeting held here today. It also resolved that any democratic protest will be nonviolent within the Angami territory. Other resolutions adopted in today’s meeting included; every political party in Nagaland is hereby reminded that the APO is apolitical (non political) organization, any representatives nominated by APO to Nagaland Tribe Action Committee are reaffirmed for endorsement, the interest of student community cannot be compromised for which all the concerned are appeal to maintain the conducive atmosphere and all the educational institutions are requested to bear with the prevailing situation in taking admission of the students.
