Applicants invited for teachers' award

Kohima, April 5 (MExN): All heads of both Government and private education institutions under the District Education Officer, Kohima have been informed to forward cases of eligible and deserving teachers fulfilling the under mentioned criteria for:  

State Award Teacher 2016 1.    Teachers who have developed an innovative approach to teaching 2.    Teachers who have achieved a certain level of excellence in their profession 3.    In teaching profession for a minimum period of 15 years 4.    A recipient of District Award for Teachers Financial Assistance from the National Foundation for Teachers Welfare 1.    Permanent disability of the teacher 2.     Prolonged treatment for his/her own ailment or ailment of wife/ children/ husband/ dependent parents 3.     Untimely death of the incumbent 4.     Natural calamity of devastating nature for which grant/relief was not received from any other sources. A press note issued by Vamu Lohe, District Education Officer, Kohima has informed that the format of recommendation can be obtained from the DEO office with immediate effect during office hour and the same, duly filled along with four recent passport size photographs, can be submitted latest by May 10.
