Assam Rifles, Chakhabama villagers undertake cleanliness drive on December 14.

KOHIMA, DECEMBER 15 (MExN): In a concerted effort to promote cleanliness and hygiene, the Assam Rifles in collaboration with villagers of Chakhabama, conducted a cleanliness drive on December 14 under the national campaign Swachhata Hi Seva.
The event witnessed active participation from 25 villagers and personnel from the Assam Rifles.
Aligned with the principles of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, this campaign aimed to raise awareness about the importance of sanitation and cleanliness, particularly in public spaces and remote village like Chakhabama.
Participants focused on cleaning the streets, and surrounding areas, ensuring that both children and community members benefit from a clean and hygienic environment.
The drive not only enhanced the cleanliness of the area but also fostered a sense of responsibility among participants regarding their role in maintaining public hygiene, according to a release issued by HQ IGAR (N).
The event concluded with a collective pledge to uphold the values of cleanliness and hygiene within the community.
