Pungro, November 7 (MExN): The Assam Rifles organized an extensive firefighting lecture and live demonstration for residents of Pungro in Kiphire district, aiming to equip the local community with essential fire safety knowledge.
The event, held on November 7, included live demonstrations by Assam Rifles personnel on handling various fire scenarios, such as wooden house fires and oil tank fires, to provide realistic insight into the dangers and management of fire hazards. Participants received hands-on training in using firefighting equipment, empowering them with practical skills to respond to potential fire outbreaks confidently.
Officials from the Nagaland Police and Nagaland Armed Police were also present, highlighting the strong cooperation between Assam Rifles and state security forces.
