Wokha, April 3 (MExN): The 28 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted a lecture on “women empowerment” at Chukitong on April 1.
According to a defence press release, the lecture was delivered by Dy Comdt MN Khama. Various issues pertaining to women empowerment, self sustenance and entrepreneurship were discussed during the lecture, the release informed.
Chukitong BDO Tsemlumi and Thundeno Tsanglao along with 120 women of Chukitong and adjoining villages were present during the lecture.
