Dimapur, February 14 (MExN): As part of the ongoing probation of 2017 batch of the Nagaland Civil Service (NCS), 15 Probationers underwent a one week orientation programme with the Assam Rifles from February 7 to 14. The probationers, during the period were briefed about the organization of Assam Rifles, terrain imperatives and various security and administrative challenges in Nagaland. The probationers also visited and stayed at the various Company Operating Bases deployed along the Indo-Myanmar Border. The programme culminated today at Kohima, wherein, Major General Pradeep Nair, YSM along with the Officers of HQ IGAR (N) interacted with them. Wishing them the very best in their future endeavors, the General Officer encouraged the future administrators to bring about an administration that runs on reliability and efficiency.
