NOKLAK, JANUARY 24 (MExN): Assam Rifles, in collaboration with Sunbird Trust and Schneider Electric Foundation India, successfully distributed 212 solar lights to the residents of Langnok and Kenjong remote border villages of Noklak district.
This initiative under CSR aims to bring sustainable and reliable lighting solutions to enhance the quality of life for the residents, a press release informed.
These high-quality and high-performance lights will help the locals in their day to day household chores and for children education in remote and underdeveloped areas of Nagaland. The event marked a collaborative effort between Assam Rifles, Sun Bird Trust, Schneider Electric Foundation India, and the local communities, emphasizing the importance of sustainable energy solutions for the region, the press release added
