AR Ghaspani & Zbto Bn conduct civic action progs

Dimapur, February 2 (MExN): Ghaspani Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) organized an interaction programme with GBs and Chairman in Phiphema COB on February 1. The interaction focused on the need for close coordination between the locals and security forces to prepare ground for peace and progress. Twenty-one GBs along with Chairman attended the event. Meanwhile, Zunheboto Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organized ‘Afforestation’ drive at Chendang Saddle village, Tuensang on February 2. The event commenced with an informative lecture on the importance of flora and the need for sustained effort of every individual towards facilitating a clean and green Nagaland. 14 youth along with troops participated in the plantation drive.
