DIMAPUR, July 30 (MExN): The Assam Rifles in joint collaboration with Green Club NGO launched an endeavor to provide vocational training for boys and girls at Zunheboto. The initiative will offer barber training for boys and cooking classes for girls.
The programme aims to empower young people with practical skills that can help them build successful careers. Upon successful completion of their training, participants will receive assistance from Green Club and Assam Rifles in opening their own shops, enabling them to generate employability.
The courses have been designed to provide students with the skills they need to succeed in their chosen fields. 15 boys and 20 girls have been enrolled for the same. Certificates will also be provided on the completion of these courses.
