Kohima, August 11 (MExN): Various battalions of the Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted awareness drives and rally related with Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav accross Nagaland on August 10.
As per an official release, in Medziphema, an awareness drive was organised by the Ghaspani Battalion at the Government Higher Secondary School, Medziphema where total of 575 Students and10 teaching Staff participated in the multi-activity programme. It included interactive lecture on Indian National Flag, deliberation on Flag Code of India.
The Zunheboto Battalion, District Administration Zunheboto, District Police and Civil societies organised National Flag Rally to promote the campaign in Zunheboto Town on Wednesday.
At Daffodil Higher Secondary School, Doyapur, the Kashiram Battalion organised a lecture on importance of National Flag. A total of 380 students and 18 teachers have attended the event.
