Nyusietho Nyuthe, Assam Rifles officials and others with students for National Integration Tour.

Kohima, September 30 (MExN): The Assam Rifles organised a National Integration Tour (NIT) for a group of 20 school children along with four teachers of Government Higher Secondary School, Meluri under Phek district.
It was flagged off in the presence of Nyusietho Nyuthe, Advisor of New & Renewable Energy and NSDMA, Nagalaand. The 15-day tour aimed to broaden their horizons, fostering national unity and pride.
The tour was flagged off from Assam Rifles Camp at Meluri with parents and teachers seeing off the students as they embark on their journey to prominent cities, including Bangalore, Belgaum, and Delhi.
The tour aims at exposing the students to India's rich cultural heritage, historical landmarks, and iconic institutions.
Interacting with peers from diverse backgrounds, the children will surely learn essential life skills, such as teamwork, communication, and adaptability.
They will be visiting Para Regimental Training Centre, ASC Training Centre along with major tourist attractions like Lal Bagh, Cubbon Park and Vidhan Sabha in Bangalore followed by Maratha Light Infantry Centre, Inf Wing & various waterfalls.
The tour’s last destination will be Delhi where students will be taken to India Gate which stands tall as an epitome of national unity and sacrifice. The tour will conclude with flagging in at IGAR(N), Kohima.
