Kohima, March 7 (MExN): A motivational lecture on joining the Indian Army was conducted by 9 Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (North) at Chieswema Garrison on March 6, 2017. Col MK Singh, Director, Recruiting, Army Recruiting Office (ARO) Rangapahar, Dimapur delivered the lecture. He highlighted various job avenues in the Indian Army and required standards to join, such as passing written exams, physical tests and medical examination, informed a press release from Assam Rifles. A total of 50 young boys with their parents attended the lecture and clarified their queries, the release added.
