AR organises lecture on career opportunities at GHSS Tuensang

TUENSANG, SEPTEMBER 3 (MExN): The Assam Rifles organized an awareness lecture on career opportunities in the Indian Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). 

The event took place at the Government Higher Secondary School, Tuensang on September 1 where 930 students from classes IX to XII participated.

The session aimed to shed light on the diverse career paths available within the Indian Armed Forces and CAPF, opening up a world of opportunities for the young minds. Through interactive presentations and discussions, the students were given insights into the various roles, responsibilities, and benefits associated with serving the nation through these esteemed organizations.

16 candidates who achieved success in the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) examination were felicitated by the Commandant 28 Assam Rifles. Their achievements were celebrated as shining examples of what dedication and hard work can accomplish. The candidates shared their insights and tips for success.

The event provided a platform for the youth to directly interact with the successful candidates, allowing them to seek advice, clarify doubts, and gain valuable first-hand experience. 

Sunil Gupta, Senior Principal, Government Higher Secondary School, Tuensang, teachers, and students expressed their gratitude to Assam Rifles for organizing the event.

“Assam Rifles remains committed to empowering the youth and contributing to their holistic development, not only through defence and security but also through guidance and inspiration that shape their aspirations,” the Commandant stated.
