Phek, March 5 (MExN): On the occasion of World Wildlife Day, 9 Assam Rifles organized a lecture on protection of wildlife at Government Middle School, Chizami on March 3. During the lecture, the students were educated on the importance of wildlife in maintaining the ecological nature, stabilizing the natural process in the environment and various measures for protection of wildlife, according to a press release from Assam Rifles. The lecture was attended by 160 students and 12 teachers who pledged to work together for protection of wildlife in the Chizami region, the AR said. They also appreciated the efforts of 9 Assam Rifles in conducting educational lecture in the school and requested to conduct such lectures in future also, the release added.
