Dimapur, July 2 (MExN): Apropos the news report which appeared in various local dailies recently, under the heading “AR apprehends NSCN (R) member”, the NSCN/GPRN (Reformation) has clarified that Alo Rengma is not a member of NSCN (R).
Terming the report as “totally false and baseless”, the NSCN (R) in a statement through its MIP also insisted that the challans found with the accused “was not issued by our government”.
In this regard, the NSCN (Reformation) asked the 3 AR to investigate who authorized him to issue the challans in the name of NSCN (R) and make it known to the public at the earliest.
Further warning “renegades” not to drag its name unnecessary and “tarnish the good image of its government”, the NSCN (R) also asked the 3 AR to enquire thoroughly with proper information before publishing such news in the future.
