
Kohima, Janaury 30 (MExN): The ARK Foundation conducted its annual executive board meeting at the residence of its General Secretary in Kohima on January 25.
During the meeting chaired it its President, Ketho Angami the activities of the Foundation were reviewed which includes conducting of some programs, building coordination with other partners, legal initiatives and advocacy for treatment on HIV, TB and viral Hepatitis etc.
The meeting also discussed in length about the need to start the process of registration certificate’s renewal, TB preventive advocacy project, and documentations, informed a press release from ARK (Access to Rights and Knowledge) Foundation.
Some activities to be conducted in the coming days were also deliberated upon, of which the house resolved to conduct HIV and AIDS awareness programs with the student bodies and in Kohima district Jail, to observe the World TB day on the March 24, it said.
The meeting also decided to address the situation of drug addiction in the state and ended with a brief note from the president, who urged the members to work endlessly and tirelessly and on a voluntary basis, it added.
