Kohima, February 14 (MExN): Lieutenant General Abhay Krishna, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, SM, VSM GOC-in-C Eastern Command arrived on February 14 on a two day visit to Kohima to review the security situation in Nagaland. He was briefed by Inspector General Assam Rifles (North) on the prevailing security situation.
A press note received here stated that the Army Commander after reviewing the security situation expressed his satisfaction on the preparations which have been made. The GOC-in-C exhorted the officers and troops of Assam Rifles to continue to put their best foot forward and work with dedication and professionalism.
