Tuensang, April 14 (MExN): An army recruitment rally was conducted at Loyem College Ground, Tuensang from April 12 to 14 “exclusively for the youths of Nagaland.” The dates for rally of respective districts were April 12 for Dimapur, Kohima, Phek; April 13 for Peren, Zunheboto, Wokha and Mon; April 14 for Mokokchung, Kiphire, Longleng and Tuensang.
Col C Konwer, PRO (Defence) P in a press release informed that the rally was flagged off by Brigadier V M Sharma, DDG (North East Zone) on April 12 and CM Chang, Minister for Forests, Environment and Climate Change and Parliamentary Affairs at Loyem College Ground Tuensang on April 13.
The rally was conducted with the help of 40 AR, which carried out necessary liaison and arrangements with civil administration for the mega event. The Army Recruitment Office Rangapahar, Dimapur under the aegis of HQ 3 Corps received very positive support from the Governor, Chief Minister, Army, IGAR (N), Administrative, Security, Education and Sports authority of the State Government, the press release added.
Director Recruiting, Col M K Singh incharge of recruitment in Nagaland has acknowledged the entire local and administrative staff of DC, SP and Education Office, Tuensang for successfully conducting the Army Recruitment Rally which will culminate on April 15.
