Dimapur, July 17 (MExN): Managing Director, Arobic Remedies and Pharmaceuticals Company based at Maharashtra, Leena Damgadge, donated medicines worth more than Rs 3 lakh for Dimapur district “to be distributed to the poor and needy people.”
A DIPR report stated that on behalf of District administration, ADC Dimapur, Atokhe, received the medicines on July 17 at Police mess, Chümoukedima.
The consignment comprised of anti allergy, iron, liver tonic, multivitamins, calcium supplement, pain killer, medicines for easing acidity, fever and several other basic essentials medicines for pregnant women etc. He thanked the donor on behalf of the district administration and the people of Dimapur, for her generous contribution and said it would definitely help the needy people.
The donor, Leena who is the wife of ADGP (IPS) Sandeep Damgadge, opined that proper medicines should reach the interior districts of Nagaland too. EAC Bendang and DPRO Dimapur were also present during the programme.
