A seminar on cyber crime was organised at St Xavier College, Jalukie town on April 29.

Peren, May 1 (MExN): A seminar on cyber crime was organised with SDPO Peren, Atu Zumvu as the resource person at St Xavier College, Jalukie town on April 29
Around 800 students from St Xavier College and various higher secondary schools from Jalukie town and its surrounding villages participated in the seminar.
An update received here stated that as per the request made by Nagaland Zeliang People’s Organisation (NZPO) led by its president, Kevi Pele, the seminar was organised by DEF Peren.
Atu Zumvü, SDPO Peren presented the case studies of the 1st case of cyber crime registered in the State in 2011 where the accused was convicted by the Court and the case won an award of ‘India Cyber Cop’ from the Data Security Council of India during annual security summit held at Hotel Grand New Delhi.
He also dwelt on the necessity of knowing the basic laws of cyber crime by the students of the present days.
