ARSU inspects renovation works at Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu

Zunheboto, March 2 (MExN): Atoizu Range Students’ Union (ARSU) led by its president, Aketovi Assumi conducted a “surprise inspection” of the ongoing renovation works at Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu (KPA) for National Board of Accreditation process on February 29.
ARSU, president and General Secretary, Kitovi Achumi in a press note stated that the inspection was conducted to ensure quality workmanship and also that the allocated funds were judiciously utilised for the project.
During the inspection, ARSU was accompanied by the Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu Students Union president. The team inspected all the construction sites at KPA institution.
The team interacted with the contractors, lecturers and landowners present during the inspection. The Union asked the contractors to employ more manual labours for early completion and ensure quality workmanship.
ARSU stated that it will not compromise with “poor workmanship by any contractors and would initiate any action deemed fit, if the works are not carried out as per the specifications of the work order.”
Meanwhile, ARSU has assured full cooperation to the department concerned and contractors for smooth functioning of affairs at KPA.
