DIMAPUR, APRIL 16 (MExN): The Department of Art and Culture held an introductory meeting with Advisor Art & Culture, Treasuries & Accounts, K Konngam Konyak at its Directorate in Kohima on April 14.
The Advisor expressed happiness that the department officials are ready to deliver and help the people. He said that the senior officers should always seek to leave a good legacy behind through their good deeds for the people.
He said the department may not have as many activities as other big departments but it is well structured, and to do justice to the people he asked the officials to work very hard, "Whether we fail or succeed let's all try and give our best in whatever we undertake," the Advisor added.
He also urged the officers to accept their transfers since it is their duty to serve the people anywhere, and the state is quite small and no place is too far to travel.
Commissioner & Secretary A&C, Athel O Lotha, IAS also spoke on the occasion and Director A&C, Adela Moa gave the welcome address.
