Kohima, November 21 (MExN): The Department of Art and Culture in co-ordination with the Nagaland Art Society will be featuring an Artists’ Corner at the WW II Museum premises in Kisama, coinciding with the Hornbill Festival from December 1-10, 2017. This initiative is intended to identify local artists to facilitate and promote their skills/talents in visual art by way of exhibition cum Art fair and Art demonstration by experts etc. In this connection, interested artists have been asked to submit a maximum of two works on painting/drawing (both senior/students) at the Directorate of Arts and Culture along with bio data during office hours latest by November 27. The Department has further requested artists who have recently been awarded in the state art competitions including the Governor’s Award recipient in visual Art to submit one work each on any medium for this year’s Artists’ Corner.
