ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Nirbhay Sharma has called upon the people to take responsibility in executing the developmental projects in the state.
The people should cooperate with district administration and executing agencies like Border Roads Organisation and Works Department to help expedite the programmes, Sharma, told a public meeting at Bomdila yesterday.
Expressing concern on recent occurrences of forest fire in different parts of the state, he appealed to the Gaon Burahs and youth to create awareness about it.
In another meeting with the heads of departments of the district, the governor suggested pooling of resources from the army establishments stationed in the district for addressing the healthcare issues.
