
Kohima, February 13 (MExN): A weeklong 50th meet 2022 of Angami Sports Association (ASA) will start from February 14 to 19. Nagaland Youth Resources & Sports Advisor Er Zale Neikha will grace the inaugural function on February 14 at 9:00 am at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
Indigenous games like bamboo stilt walk and blowing of trumpet will add colours to the inaugural function. WAYO will present folk tune.
Lighting of the tournament flame will be done by ASA defending men's athletic champion Medoneituo Sekhose and women's athletic individual champion Abeino Neihu.
The programme will be chaired by ASA President Er Lhoubeizo Kesiyie while welcome address will be delivered by ASA advisor Viliehu Nguzhii. ASA Athletics Secretary Neilekho Ziitso will administer the oath to the participating teams- Northern Angami Sports Association, Southern Angami Sports Association, Western Angami Youth Organization and Chakhroma Youth Organization.
