The arms and ammunition recovered from the factory busted at Noklak on March 2.
Tuensang, March 4 (MExN): Troops of 23 Assam Rifles apprehended three FGN (Non Accordist) cadres from Post Office Sector, Tuensang on March 3. A press release from Assam Rifles informed that the cadres have been identified as Loyem Chang, Chairman Chang Region, Leacy Yamu Chang and Raja Peyu Shete. One .22 pistol with ammunition and documents were recovered from their possession. The apprehended cadres were handed over to the Police in Tuensang, the release stated.
Arms factory busted
In a separate incident, personnel of 23 Assam Rifles busted an arms factory at Noklak on March 2 and apprehended Hatho Khiamniungan from Pathso village, Noklak. According to a press release, three .22 pistols, seventeen rounds of live ammunition and tools used in manufacturing arms were recovered from his possession. The accused along with the recoveries have been handed over to Police Station, Noklak.
