Assam Rifles distributes solar street lights

Noklak, April 20 (MExN): Assam Rifles distributed solar street lights to locals of Taknyu village, which is located in a remote area of Noklak district of Nagaland, under Assam Rifles Civil Action Programme on April 16. 

“Taknyu village faces significant challenges in regards to stable electric supply, therefore by providing these solar lights to the locals has ensured a continuous source of light in their day to day activities,” AR stated in a press release.

‘Security meeting’ in New Thewati 
The Assam Rifles, organised a “security meeting” at Lower Khel, New Thewati which brought together key figures of the community and representatives from village including the village chairman, General Secretary, GB and village guard.

The meeting was held with the focus to “assess the current security challenges since the villages are closer to the IMB and explore collaborative solutions to ensure the safety and well-being of residents in the region.”

“Representatives of Assam Rifles, emphasized the organization's dedication to fostering a secure environment for all since security is paramount for sustainable development and prosperity,” it stated in a press release.
