Wokha, March 13 (MExN): 28 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) had interaction with the GBs and village chairmen of Doyang region at Doyang in Wokha district on March 11. A total of 23 GBs and village chairmen of the region participated in the interaction, where important issues pertaining to development, health, education and empowerment of women were discussed, according to a press release from Assam Rifles. The meeting ended with the 28 Assam Rifles assuring their unconditional support to villagers in all their future endeavours, the release added.
ARESM interaction at Noklak
Meanwhile, the 15 Assam Rifles held an Assam Rifles Ex-Servicemen (ARESM) interaction at Noklak on March 10 which was joined in by GBs/DBs of the village. According to a press release, Colonel Vineet Jaiswal, Commandant 15 AR, interacting with the 4 Veer Naries, 7 AR Ex-Servicemen, and 9 GBs/DBs in attendance informed about latest provisions of pension/ex-servicemen facilities. The Commandant assured immediate assistance with grievances pertaining to pension benefits of ARESM.
