Shamator, November 9 (MExN): The Assam Rifles on November 9 organised a “Unity March/ Padyatra” in Shamator district, Nagaland, commemorating the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sarder Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.
The event was aimed to spread the message of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” promoting harmony, integration and collective strength among the citizens.
The programme was marked with Naga traditional cultural performances and a display by the Assam Rifles Pipe Band with a rendition of the Rashtriya Gaan.
